- Emergency drill today. WUSTL will simulate an emergency situation on its campuses beginning this afternoon to help ensure the university is prepared should an actual emergency occur. - Football team upsets Wabash College. The Bears football team upset previously unbeaten No. 19 Wabash College, 24-20, Oct. 9 at Francis Field. Senior quarterback Stephen Sherman had a career day, completing 18 of 28 passes for 266 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winner to junior wide receiver Easton Knott with 1:10 on the clock.
